Damage

Remember how I told you our house flooded while we were in the USA at Christmas? We are still finishing the repairs but have lots to be thankful for. Look at this hole in the main bathroom ceiling:

Bummer. It was really interesting to see the way they used to build the ceilings in Victorian times though.

And this is the room where most of the water came in. The breakfast room floor was toast and this is the bath right off the kitchen where the water came through the ceiling too. Looks like an interesting paint project doesn't it??

We are thankful that most of the damage has been repaired. And that we have heat, water and a dry place to lay our heads! Blessings.
